into the rotting maw of mephisto
cruelty and madness
slaughter of the priestess
resurrect the seventh head of tathamet
shrunken heads
cursed to live in agony
now i see
the undead writhe in pale moonlight
sacrificed
and allow the lord of hatred
to feast upon
dead and living, animal or man

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names.
